Ink on stretched bamboo paper

The name “Shino” means ‘a stem of bamboo’ in Japanese. This series of works is made with ink on paper mounted on canvas. All works are framed and varnished and the original drawing plan is still visible through the ink to preserve the Wabi feeling of the piece.
